ArmorThane UltraPrime is a VOC-compliant, fast-cure, high-performance polyurethane prime. It performs well even on marginally prepared steel substrates. UltraPrime provides excellent barrier protection against corrosion. It can be recoated quickly and gives very high bond strength. UltraPrime is typically used to prime steel substrates, which will be top coated with a polyurethane or polyurea elastomer.
