Our STS-300 formulation builds upon the success of its predecessor, STS-200. Both are part of our catalog of ArmorLine spray-on coatings, constituting our most advanced low-pressure polyurethane products. Like STS-200, STS-300 is a 2:1 polyurethane but with several notable differences, including several improvements. STS-300 is less flexible than STS-200, compensated by its greater shore hardness that helps the formulation withstand extreme physical stress. Its toughness makes it the ideal materials technology for a variety of private, commercial, and industrial applications, resisting cracking, peeling, and deformation even under continuous strain or harsh environmental conditions.

In addition to greater shore hardness, STS-300 also outperforms its precursor in terms of its chemical resistance and UV stability. Many STS-300 formulations are inherently UV-stable, retaining their color and maintaining their performance when exposed to sunlight in outdoor applications. STS-300 also benefits from lower permeability and higher tear strength, as well as broad-scope compatibility with various different substrate materials, including metals, concrete, and wood. This makes STS-300 a highly versatile coating, which strongly bonds to almost any surface to create a lasting, integrated elastomer layer that won’t delaminate or otherwise crack under pressure, regardless of where and what it’s protecting. Together, its many strengths have earned STS-300 widespread adoption, commonly used to protect truck beds, waterproof decks, encapsulate fiberglass bodies, and serve as a general, all-purpose coating technology.
